Seychelles Minister of Tourism invited as keynote speaker for travel forum in Dubai

Conde Naste invites Seychelles Tourism Minister to deliver keynote address at Traveller Forum this year in Dubai.

Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, has been invited by Anil Bhoyrul, the Editorial Director of the APP Group, to deliver the keynote speech on the “destinations” section at the Conde Naste Traveller Forum to some 500 key industry professionals.

The 2016 forum will be taking place at the Park Hyatt in Dubai on November 14. Conde Nast is one of the most respected tourism and travel magazines, and their forum this year is being themed “the future of luxury” and aimed at exploring the growth and changes in the luxury tourism market across five key sectors: destinations, technology, airlines, hotels, and social media.

It is said that in his address, Minister St.Ange will be looking at how the Seychelles has developed into one of the world’s premier luxury destinations. Following his address, the Seychelles Tourism Minister will join a panel debate on “tourism destinations.”

Minister St.Ange has also been invited to be one of the guests of honor at the Conde Nast Traveller Award that is set to follow this year’s forum.

Commenting on his invitation to be delivering a keynote speech at the important Conde Nast Traveller Forum, the island’s Tourism Minister St.Ange said that it is always an honor for Seychelles to not only be recognized as an important player in the world of tourism, but that it is today relevant enough to be called upon to address the industry professionals from the Community of Nations at large. “We know that we have a successful tourism industry that is today the pillar of the Seychelles economy. We also know that we are today more relevant than ever before, because we have been working with our private sector trade for the one key industry we have and that is tourism. The team at the Seychelles Tourism Board and that of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture have left no stone unturned as they worked for Seychelles with an open-door policy as professional facilitators,” said Minister St.Ange.
