Singapore Airlines Appointed as the Official Carrier for the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2017

Singapore Airlines has been appointed as the Official Carrier for the 36th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2017 to be held in Singapore from 16th to 20th January 2017 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

Singapore is honoured to host ATF 2017, with the Theme – “Shaping our Tourism Journey

Together”. Alongside ASEAN’s 50th anniversary in 2017, the annual event will involve all 10 member nations of ASEAN in a cooperative regional effort to promote ASEAN as a single tourist destination. The weeklong event comprises TRAVEX, ASEAN Tourism Conference – (ATC), National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) Meetings and ASEAN Tourism Minister’s Meetings.

The airline was officially appointed on 21st December 2016 after accepting the Appointment from the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) and the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA), joint Event Managers for TRAVEX (a business to business Exhibition and Exchange where tourism Buyers from around the world systematically meet tourism Sellers from the ASEAN region in pre-arranged scheduled appointments) and the ASEAN Tourism Conference – a showcase

Seminar where invited Speakers, Moderators and Panellists can exchange views on the latest industry developments and challenges.

As the Official Carrier, Singapore Airlines will be working with NATAS and SHA to support visitors who are planning to travel to Singapore for TRAVEX 2017. Singapore Airlines was also the Official Carrier for ASEAN Tourism Forum 2007, Singapore.
