In his capacity as the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Minister, he has so far visited Serbia and Croatia and met with Ivica Dacic, Serbia First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Rasim Ljajić, Serbia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Trade and Telecommunications; and Frano Matusic, Croatia Ministry of Tourism State Secretary.

It is believed he is now on his way to Paris as he continues this European tour, where he will continue to be the ever charismatic, articulate, and consummate diplomat for his country.
The Hon. Dr. Mzembi is a candidate for the Secretary General position at the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
