Lufthansa is overhauling its long-haul routes for the fall with changes being made to the aircraft on many of its routes to accommodate a higher travel demand.
The airline is upgrading to larger aircraft or adding aircraft for its long-haul routes between Frankfurt-Atlanta, Frankfurt-Bangkok, Frankfurt-Chennai, Frankfurt-Dallas/Ft. Worth, Frankfurt-Hong Kong, Frankfurt-Male, Frankfurt-Philadelphia, and Frankfurt-Rio de Janeiro.
Lufthansa is Germany’s largest German airline and, when combined with its subsidiaries, is the largest airline in Europe in terms of fleet size. The airline operates services to 18 domestic destinations and 197 international destinations in 78 countries across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe using a fleet of more than 270 aircraft.
