8900 phones, 3353 wallets – Abu Dhabi launches taxi ‘lost-and-found’ smartphone application

A whopping 8,900 cell phones were mistakenly left behind in Abu Dhabi’s public taxis last year, a transport official said. Two people died this afternoon when the private plane they were in crashed at Tucson International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the twin-engine Beechcraft BE300 smashed into a blast fence and then into a parking garage east of the terminal.
